To make adai crisper!!

To make adai crisper and protein enhanced add soyachunks while grinding the adai batter!!

Oh.. i dont know this.. I use more of channa dal to make the adai crisp. Here in Indian stores u get a similar dal called yellow split dal(I think it is pattani paruppu in tamil). If u use that the adai and dal vadai is very crispy. I will try adding soya chunks too. thanks for the tip.

Hi.. first time visitor. Nice tips - Thanks. Do we need to just add the store bought soyachunks straight from the bag or should we soak them in water and then grind ? I have not used them much but will love to !

Thanks for visiting my blog! you can just add soya chunks with out soaking in water!No need to soak it.Hope from trying this you will start using soya often!

Can we add Soya Chunks to Dosa batter to get crispier dosas?and if so do we need to soak the Soya chunks in hot water and grind along with other ingredients or added as a dry powder

Hi Baskaran
You need not add soya chunks for dosa batter itself.To get crisper dosais just prepare dosais thinly and use ghee for better taste. I have not tried adding soya chunk for dosai batter!
