I was looking for a salad which will be colorful, tasty , nutritious etc.. So as if to prove that whatever we wish for will happen , my friend Rama told me a recipe which I was looking for... This salad is the most delicious one I ever had in a long time. It is very appealing to our senses... colorful to our eyes.. very appetising...those who are very nutrition and diet concious can definetly try this.... Others also can try this for they can have a very different and satisfying lunch with this salad.
Ingredients
Soaked and Boiled Groundnut | 1/2 Cup |
Sprouted Green Gram | 1 Cup |
Onion finely chopped | 1 |
Tomato finely chopped | 2 |
Cucumber finely chopped | 1 |
Capsicum red,yellow,green | combined 1/2 or 1 cup |
Carrot chopped | 2 |
Green Chilly finely chopped(optional) | 1 |
lemon juice | 1/2 lemon squeezed |
Salt | As per requirement |
Wash and soak green gram for atleast 7 hours and then drain the water. You can leave it as it is after draining the water as moong beans will start sprouting.just close it with a lid. otherwise after draining the water,put the soaked green gram in a cloth and tie it. leave it for overnight. fresh sprouted green gram is ready.
Soak the groundnuts overnight. then boil it and keep aside. now finely chop the vegetables given in the table above. In a big bowl add the sprouts,boiled groundnuts,vegetables,salt,lemon juice and toss. Serve immediately and enjoy the delicious salad!!!!!
